Richard has been working as Regional Protection Advisor for Oxfam in Horn, East and Central Africa since November 2013. Prior to this he spent six years working with different NGOs in Kenya, Uganda, DRC and Somalia, both in management and coordination positions and as a Protection specialist. He has researched and written on sustainability and good practices in Community Based Protection, and has a Master’s degree in International Law from Oxford Brookes University.
