Duncan Onyango leads the GBP60m DFID funded Sustainable Urban Economic Development (SUED) Programme. Prior to that he was East Africa Director for Acumen Fund Inc, a nonprofit global venture fund that invests in companies, leaders and ideas to change the way the world tackles poverty. He oversaw Acumen's portfolio of companies, which currently has more than US$40m of investments under management in the EAC region and is present in the agriculture, energy, education, health care, housing and water and sanitation sectors.
