Ayaz Manji is the current Director of Programmes and Operations at the Kenya Red Cross Society. Having worked at the KRCS for the last 11 years, he has gained significant experience in the field of humanitarian preparedness and response as well as development. Being a Civil Engineer by profession, Ayaz has worked in the water sector in Kenya for the last 17 years. From emergency preparedness and response to disaster risk reduction to long term community development, Ayaz has managed to work across the sectors of Water and Sanitation, Health and Disaster Management.
He is a holder of a Bsc in Civil and Structural Engineering (First Class Honors-University of Nairobi) and a Masters of Executive Management (Lancaster University)
