WASH Alliance Kenya

An accomplished coordinator, networker and collaborator in the WASH and Health sectors, with considerable experience from Government, UN and CSO sectors – both in regular and Emergency programming.

Current the Country Coordinator for WASH Alliance Kenya, a multistakeholder, programmatic partnership, for synergy and complementarity, in the WASH Sector; and also the volunteer National Coordinator for the UN based Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC) in Kenya, over sighting the Global Sanitation Fund (K_SHIP) and Menstrual Hygiene Management programs,  among others.  Have worked a UNICEF Kenya WASH Specialist, Senior Public Health Officer in the Ministry of Health, and NACADA Public Health Specialist; and  Program Officer - IFAD SNCDP, among others.

Supports  WASH sector policy developments in government ministries of Health, Water and Education; and also where l co-convene the National Hygiene Promotion Technical Working Group – under the National Sanitation and Hygiene Inter-agency Coordinating Committee (ICC).

A Board Member of Synergy (an Urban Sanitation provider), KWAHO and KEWASNET; and undertakes WASH and Health consultancies; and holds a Masters degree in Public Health and Epidemiology.
