Rishi Ramrakha is currently Head of the Africa Region Logistics Unit for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies ( IFRC ) based in Nairobi Kenya. He is responsible for coordinating logistics demands within the region, this includes recruitment and secondment of staff, procurement and supply of both food and non-food items, training and developing of logistics staff and maintaining a disaster preparedness stock to enable Red Cross partners to respond to small scale disasters.
