Deputy Country Director for Save the Children in Somalia responsible for Programme Development and Quality. Leads a team of humanitarian and development professionals that implement Save the Children’s resource mobilization efforts for the famine prevention response in Somalia as well as technical oversight for evidence based, quality programme delivery and advocacy in line with Core Humanitarian Standards and internal quality benchmarks. Prior to this, worked for War Child as Country Director in Uganda, Y Care International as Head of Africa Programmes and IPPF as Technical Officer.
