Matthias Farrenschon obtained the General University Entrance Qualification (Abitur) in Germany in 1989. From 1989 until 2009 he served as an Officer in the German Armed Forces and retired as a Lieutenant-Colonel. During this time he served in the Army Special Forces and flew as a Navigator on the Tornado-Jet in the Navy and Air Force. From 2006 to 2009 he served as a liaisons officer to the French Air Force at the French Air Force Command in Metz, France. Mr. Farrenschon attended the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich, Germany from 1992 to 1996 and received a Master of Business Administration. In 2002 he graduated from the Germany Armed Forces Academy for Communication as Press Officer. He attended Staff Officers Course in 2003 at the Führungsakademie of the Bundeswehr in Hamburg, Germany. Matthias Farrenschon holds as well a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Freie Universität Berlin, Berlin, Germany. After retiring from the Armed Forces he worked as a Key Account Manager NATO for the Serco GmbH Bonn, Germany. Since 2013 he is responsible for sales in Africa, Asia Pacific and for UN of the Kärcher Futuretech GmbH in Germany.
