Dr. Feleke Tadele is currently the Country Director of CCFC-Ethiopia Program. Prior to this, he served as the Country Director of HelpAge International in Ethiopia (2012-2015) as the Country Representative of Oxfam- Canada Ethiopia Program (2008-2012), as the Regional Program Manager- East Africa for Save the Children Canada (2007-2008) and as the Country Director of Save the Children Canada in Ethiopia (2003-2006). Dr. Feleke also worked in various senior management capacities for Oxfam GB, CARE-USA and Save the Children Norway in Ethiopia, Horn of Africa and the Former Soviet Union countries such as Georgia, Azerbajan and Armenia. In addition to this, Dr. Feleke served as the Board Chair of the Executive Board of the Consortium of C.R.D.A; President of the Society of Sociologists and Social Anthropologists in Ethiopia; the Vice President of the Association for Disaster Studies and Management; Vice president for the board of SOS-Sahel – Ethiopia; Executive Board member of the Forum for Social Studies, FSS. Dr. Feleke has a PhD in Development Studies, an M.A degree in Social Anthropology and a BA in Applied Sociology. He served as a research fellow at the Oxford University in United Kingdom in 1998 and Research Fellow and Coordinator for the Wellbeing in Developing Countries International Research Project of the University of Bath, United Kingdom (2004-8). Dr. Feleke had thought master courses at Addis Ababa and Bahir Dar Universities and published over a dozens of technical papers on globally accredited journals.
