Brennan joined TEL in the Fall of 2013, following four years of working across non-profit and for-profit sectors in South America. Brennan first experienced the versatility of low-cost, innovative solutions to basic human needs while living in a squatter settlement on the outskirts of Valparaiso, Chile, where Japanese-inspired composting toilets and Persian eco-adobe architecture were as readily accepted as their Chilean counterparts. After graduating from Occidental College in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Diplomacy and World Affairs, Brennan moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina. There he founded a social enterprise in which American expats provided business English training to CEOs and low-income domestic workers, alike. Thereafter Brennan joined an early-stage e-commerce startup as CFO. Recognizing TEL's important and unique role in connecting innovators to communities in need of practical solutions to problems of poverty, Brennan focuses on maximizing TEL's impact as it continues to grow in mission and scope. If he's not at TEL headquarters, you can find Brennan free diving or bodysurfing in the cold waters off of Cape Ann. - See more at: http://www.technologyexchangelab.org/about/team/#sthash.ETOgNcCQ.dpuf
